I Mean It, Get in My Belly – Goat Cheese Grits

(Disclaimer: Please bare with me while I tool around on this “blog thing.”  Hope this post works and I’m using it the correct way.)

I had my first goat cheese grits at Tupelo Honey Cafe in Asheville, NC.  And frankly, this is what I want to be buried in when it’s time to meet my maker.  Right after I sling back a glass of Cadonini Pinot Grigio 2008, Venezie, Italy.  The menu description: “Displays bright and abundant flavors of pears and apples with a crisp finish.”

Make your way to Asheville and stop at this gem!  Try the fried green tomatoes over goat cheese grits as well as Brian’s shrimp over what else?  GOAT CHEESE GRITS with spicy roasted red pepper sauce!  Served on authentic Fiesta ware, I promise, you’ll never look back!

    Mmmmm…grits. The only thing better would be some scrimps in those grits.
