I’m Bananas for These “Fosters!” … And “Albert J’s.”

A couple of years ago I had my purse stolen and along with it my beloved (and expensive) eyeglasses.  Since then I have be donning various “cheaters” from drugstores and random airports across the country.  On the upside, since they are cheap cheap cheap, I can throw them into my handbag without a case or a care.  If they get scratched, I just hit up the nearest CVS/Walgreens/Osco.  No harm, no foul.  I’ve got a pair in my car, a pair at my desk, and a pair permanently on my head.  Impromptu headband anyone??

Well, I’ve decided, the time has come to cheat on my “cheaters.”  My roving eyes are ready to embrace a relationship with the designer eyeglasses once again.

Below are my newest contenders:

Do these glasses come with clear skin too? I'll take two!

Red hair with dark Oliver Peoples - Albert J style glasses! All systems go!

In keeping with my love of all things cozy and fall, I would opt for the tortoise shell.  Although, I am loving the black contrast against the fair skin… what to do?!

    Margi-
I like choice A. And I am very impressed that you are up for a committed relationship.
I have been buying my sunglasses at the dollar store for 3 summers now, and I’m not sure if I can committ to real ones.

    • Baby steps Lala. Definitely ready to be monogamous with a pair of optical glasses. But not sure I’ll ever have that kind of commitment with sunglasses. I think part of the fun of finding new shades is the venue where they are bought/found. Some of my favorite locations have been a gas station in New Hampshire, the dollar basket at a thrift store, and the lost and found where I volunteered in Boston. Haha! What?!
